Dental implants are revolutionising the field of dentistry, offering a permanent and natural-looking solution for missing teeth. Whether you've lost a single tooth, multiple teeth, or are struggling with ill-fitting dentures, dental implants provide a long-lasting alternative.
At Delph Dental Practice, we prioritise patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction above all else. Our team of experienced and compassionate dental professionals is dedicated to delivering personalised care tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Single tooth implants offer a permanent solution for replacing missing teeth. Using a titanium implant fixture surgically placed into the jawbone, along with a custom dental crown, they restore both function and aesthetics. The process involves osseointegration, where the implant bonds with the bone for stability. Benefits include a natural appearance, longevity, and preservation of bone health. Unlike bridges, single tooth implants maintain surrounding teeth and prevent bone loss. They enhance oral health, allowing normal chewing and speech.
At Delph Dental Practice, we offer single tooth implants, providing personalised treatment plans. Our goal is to deliver exceptional results that enhance smiles and improve quality of life. If you're considering this solution, schedule a consultation to learn more about its transformative potential.
Multiple teeth implants replace several missing teeth with titanium implant fixtures and custom dental crowns, restoring function and aesthetics. Osseointegration ensures stability by bonding implants with the jawbone. Benefits include a natural appearance, longevity, and preservation of bone health. Unlike bridges, they maintain surrounding teeth and prevent bone loss. These implants enhance oral health, allowing normal chewing and speech.
Delph Dental Practice offers in multiple teeth implants, with personalised treatment plans. Our goal is to deliver exceptional results that enhance smiles and improve quality of life. If you're considering this solution, schedule a consultation to learn more about its transformative potential.

Your dentist evaluates your oral health, including the condition of your teeth, gums, and jawbone. X-rays or scans may be taken to assess bone density and structure. Your dentist will then discuss your specific goals, concerns, and expectations regarding tooth replacement.
Based on the assessment and your preferences, a customised treatment plan is developed. This plan outlines the number of implants needed, the type of restoration (such as a crown, bridge, or denture), and any preparatory procedures required, such as bone grafting if the jawbone lacks adequate density.
The dental implants, usually made of titanium, are surgically placed into the jawbone in the locations where teeth are missing. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic to ensure you are as comfortable and pain-free as possible. After implant placement, a healing period of several months is needed to allow osseointegration, during which the implants bond with the surrounding jawbone tissue.
During the healing period, the bone tissue grows and integrates with the surface of the implants, providing a stable foundation.
Once osseointegration is complete, abutments (connector pieces) are attached to the implants. These abutments serve as the anchor points for attaching the final prosthetic restoration.
Impressions of your teeth and gums are taken to create a custom-made dental crown, bridge, or denture that will be attached to the implants. The final prosthetic restoration is securely attached to the abutments, completing the implant process. Your dentist ensures proper fit, function, and aesthetics.
Regular follow-up appointments are scheduled to monitor healing, evaluate the stability of the implants, and address any concerns or adjustments needed.
